I have a scientific background and worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Behavioural and Clinical Neuroscience Institute in the University of Cambridge for a number of years. During my time as a researcher, I published several journal articles in the areas of pharmacology and neuroscience (please see here for selected publications). Following this, I became a publishing editor for the Royal Society of Chemistry in Cambridge, which involved both management of the peer-review of submitted manuscripts and preparation of accepted articles for journal publication (including editing and proofreading). Since turning freelance, I have worked for a number of publishers and publication support providers, both editing accepted manuscripts and helping authors to get their work published.
